A Texas Ranch Wedding
Enjoy Cinco de Mayo Weekend with a Blackberry Margarita!
Have you tried this Margarita from @Vitamix? Changing it up with fruit, we think you will love it!
Ingredients
2 cups granulated sugar, zest of 3 limes, 1 cup blackberries, 1/2 cup seedless blackberry jam, 1/2 lime peeled & halved, 6 oz. tequila, 2 oz. triple sec & 4 1/2 cup ice cubes.
Directions
- Place sugar and lime zest into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Start your blender, slowly increase to its highest speed.
- Blend for 20 seconds.
- Rim glasses with lime sugar. Add ice to glasses.
- Place blackberries, jam and lime into the Vitamix container in the order listed and secure lid.
- Select Variable 1.
- Start your blender, slowly increase to its highest speed.
- Blend for 40 seconds. Stop and add the tequila and triple sec and stir. Pour over Ice.
Notes
Optional: Place 1 or 2 fresh basil leaves into glass with the ice before serving.
